i need me a cancer man

fishing

so my dad goes fishing with his friend EVERY SINGLE SATURDAY.
it's really rare that he won't.
he leaves at like 5am & gets home at like 4pm

well this weekend i'm going with him!
i'm not getting up at 5 like he does,
but around noon i'll be there.
not to fish (fishing is icky),
but to take pics for my project.
oh & to get a tan too lol

wow

Oh my goodness!
This weekend I was hired to take my friend’s prom pictures.
They came out really really nice and she looked great.

But man, while I was there I saw some of the most hideous prom dresses ever!
The winner thought was a pink & white one, where the ENTIRE torso was rhinestones!

Like what is this, a beauty pageant?
I don’t think so.
She looked awful!

but that will be me next year,
well not in the rhinestone dress but at prom.

hookah & henna night

ok so in art class i sit with 3 awesome girls (we have like big tables we share),

and 2 of them, Sarah & Pooja, are middle eastern (well indian and pakistani)

so Mackenzie (girl in above pic) & i are always bugging them to do henna on us.

well we all finally went to a hookah bar,

then came back to my place to do henna!

it was way fun :D

so here's the problem

my mother dropped a bomb on me.
she's moving back to brazil after i graduate...
and that's not the problem.

the issue is that she wants me to sit here crying & begging her not to go...and i'm not.

i'm not heartless and cold, it's just that after i graduate i was planning on moving to commerce anyways.
so it's not like it's any different...she'll just be a little further away from me.

but she's walking around all bitter like i did something to upset her and trying to not only make me feel bad, but get me to move with her...

is she high?
why in the world would i move back to a country i haven't been in since i was 6?
why would i even attempt to go to college (or take the brazilian SATs i should say) when i cannot write in portuguese to save my life?

it makes absolutely no sense, and she doesn't (or is choosing not to) understand that.

*sigh*
why are things so difficult??

i told him (refer to last blog to see the him situation).
i told him how i feel.
i told him that i understand that he is in love with someone else.
i told him that he's still gonna be my best friend.
& i told him nothing will change.

i just wish i could have told him in person...

& this is why i hate being a teen girl

1.) HORMONES!
2.) dramatic girls
3.) stupid boys

the first two can be dealt with,
like i know how to deal with it pretty easily.

but #3 is a tricky one.
this may be kinda long, and for that i apologize.

ok here's the 411 on my new boy issue.
so i'm best friends with this A-MAZING guy in my school. he's nice, funny, silly, and all those good qualities in a guy friend. well this fool dated a girl a few month ago (they broke up around november/december...i think) but she lived all the way out in LONDON! when they broke up he was really upset and all that stuff. he says they are "in love" and he's moving there after college and they're gonna be together and blah blah blah. normally i would just giggle at it and move on about my day...but i'm like head-over-heels for this fool! so here we are, him all jealous because she's over there dating guys left and right, and me trying (& miserably failing) to convince him to move on. ughhh! stupid boys.

so there's my boy drama.
