like we had all last week off,

ok so this year we're all a little tight on money this year,

photoshop fun

ok so in the state of texas in order to graduate you have to take a tech class.
for some extremely lame reason, yearbook or photojournalism don't count.
(i guess working with computers. photoshop, indesign, digital cameras, and printers don't count)

so i decided to take desktop publishing this year.
the class is super easy and pretty fun :]

so since i'm in that class right now,
i thought i'd upload some of the projects we've done!

TAKS math

that's the class i'm in right now.
at first i was so pissed i was put in this class when i passed my math taks test,
then i loved it cause there was only 5 people in the class and our teacher is really chill,
but i now am slowly starting to hate it again because the class is acting extremely dumb and pissing our teacher off.

but i just took an online test in here,
got a 97 on it

tense

it seems like everyone around me lately has been super stressed,

making my atmosphere very tense.

i myself am not a single bit stressed.

i have my spread done & my pictures edited (hence why i'm actually posting on here during yearbook for once)

but my teacher is stressed

my classmates are stressed

my father is stressed

these people are taking a toll on me!

like i'm not even exaggerating or anything.

i got home yesterday from a very stressful & tense workday for yearbook,

i showered, ate, & fell asleep at like 8:30!

then i woke up at 4 this morning from a terrible dream (not a nightmare...they're different)

i blame all this stress for the dream.

evil art project!

ok so thanks to mr.matulich's art 1 class,
i have figured that i'm more artistic than i thought.
like not that i'm creative (i've always known that),
but that i actually have the art skills i always thought i lacked.

i've loved, and done a good job, every art project we've done so far...except this current one.
i'm calling it the "art project from hell".
creative huh?
hahahaha

it's not hard, just EXTREMELY time consuming!

ok so i had to draw the triple moon goddess symbol in the middle of my paper,
then divide my paper up into small shapes,
(mr.m had me do big diamonds coming from the exact center of the picture and then just vertical lines),
and then do a whole value chart (going from black to white with every shade of gray in between) in each division,
and make sure it's all completely blended...

i've been working on this stupid thing for 3 class periods, and i tried to work on it yesterday.
guess how many divisions i have done?
5!

i took a pic on my cell last night of it, but since i'm at school i can't check my email to post it on here.
but man, this thing is kicking my butt!
i want to see if mr.m will give me an alternative assignment cause i know i won't finish this!

i swear i have no idea what happened this past week,
but my mom has been spitting fire out at me all week!

For the past two days the IT guy has been mystified as to why no one has been able to login on that computer. He was even more mystified when I could login perfecly. He still hasn't figured it out. Today, I watched a freshman fall down the stairs, and then land with an air guitar and a knee slide, and walk away like nothing happened. That kid is going places. MLIA.

Today, my friend and I were playing with an application on his iphone, which is similar to a magic 8 ball. He asked it several questions and kept getting similar lame responses, such as "outlook isn't good," "not in a million years," "ask again later," etc. He got frustrated, and exclaimed, "Oh yea! Yesterday, a water pipe up the road from my house broke. Since we had no water in the house my parents dien't make me go to school, because I couldn't shower. ok so friday night i get home from shooting a volleyball game for yearbook,
& my dad and his best friend (who hired me to shoot his daughter's wedding) come home from walmart.

so saturday mom & i went shopping!

ok so we all know i go to liberty high school, right?
well have i mentioned how much it sucks in the male department?
not that it doesn't suck in other areas too,
but the boy issue is like my main one!

most of the guys at the school i have known since i was in 7th grade,

and if that's not the case, i've known them since freshman year & already had a crush on them.

i'm a junior in high school and i HIGHLY doubt i will have a "high school sweetheart",

i don't think i have swine.
i had a fever of 103 from the 7pm last night till 6am this morning

but my fever is gone now
i just have lots of congestion
but the advil sinus is helping to drain it

so it is 11:33 am right now & i am home.

i woke up this morning just fine,
a little hoarse & coughing but pretty normal.

i got to first period,
and all of a sudden my sinusitis attack!
i can't look down, up, or sideways cause it hurts.

i tough it out for an hour and a half,
but go to the nurse during announcements in 2nd period.

she tells me i have a fever and swine flu symptoms,
and that if i'm not any better tomorrow i need to get tested for swine...

the wedding was so crazy
i took about 1000 pictures...and i'm not exagerating one bit

but i got a lot of really good pictures
and i'm not one to brag, so if i say they were good it's because they were!
