Isapalooza!

that's right, you read correctly! i'm calling the week counting down to my birthday Isapalooza hahaha. i am turning 16, after all. ok tomorrow my girl friends are coming to have some fun & chill with me. but my parents gave me my present yesterday! i screamed when i saw it (no, it wasn't a car-- i won't need one until i'm 18)! they got me an iPhone!!! :D i'm super happy, i'm listening to music on it right now. i'm so buying a purple cover for it. oh, btw, my birthday is on 2/25 lol. well spanish is muy aburrido (very boring) so i'm gonna play on my new iPhone :]

busy busy

oh my good golly! not last week, but the week before was when i went back to school from my week off with the stomach virus. so as you can tell, i've been killing myself with make up work. i'm doing the last bit of it tonight actually to turn in tomorrow.

well i've also been busy with fun/good stuff! well, correction, i'm going to be busy. this weekend is going to be so fun! tomorrow Gailyn & i are going to see our boys play their very first HOB & their very first SOLD OUT show!!! i couldn't be prouder of them. on saturday (ew, vday) i'm actually doing a love ritual (not witchcraft, it's native american rituals), & sunday i get to be with my best boys <333

well that's what's been going on with me lately. now i'm just trying to get over this flu that is attacking my entire high school.

valentine's day...bah humbug!

oh valentine's day, how i hate thee.

seriously, i've ALWAYS hated this dumb day. it's not even a real holiday! it's just some made up crap! even on the one valentine's day i had a bf, i still didn't like it. now, this valentine's won't be any different...but the day after will be amazing! i'm actually "celebrating" valentine's day a day late. on the 15th my loving boys from LoveHateHero will be doing a show & not only do i get so see my lovelies but i get 3 valentines! [yes there are 4 members in lhh but i could never ask Pierrick, him & his gf are way too serious] so Scott, Paris, & Kevin are my dates this year lol. i love my boys. but i still hate valentine's day :]

name change!

i'm not gonna lie, when i picked the name for my blog i kinda just pulled the name out of my butt. i was listening to my iPod and It's So Simple was the playing, so i went with that. later, sure it kinda made sense to have. it was also a cute oxymoron because i'm not gonna lie, i'm anything but simple. well i decided that Finding Home was a much better fit. i mean i'm not at home right now, i'm a good gagillion miles away from home. & i'm not goona lie, texas doesn't really feel like home to me still. so i'm still "finding home". now before you even have to ask, yes Finding Home is another Saosin song. so this is the new name of my blog & i thought i'd include the lyrics to it too. enjoy! :D

lovely randomness

ok so i've done this before, but i just saw Jackie do it & wanted to do a brand new one. back in january of last year i made a list with 100 random facts about me and posted it on my myspace. well i won't be wasting your (& not to mention my) time with 100 facts. i'll give you 25 & i won't even use the old list. ok here we go.

1. in a conversation, i'd much rather do the listening then the talking
2. the smallest & stupidest of things irritate me
3. i'm a total ocd freak, but i've embraced it
4. i can't take a shower unless my iPod is playing in my bathroom speakers
5. i love Saosin like lungs love oxygen (if not more)
6. my iPod goes with me EVERYWHERE
7. i can text up to 10,000 texts a month
8. i can speak portuguese just fine, but i suck at writting
9. i can never not have nail polish on my toes
10. i hate the color yellow
11. i can't stand people who talk really loud
12. that also goes for people who won't stop talking all the time
13. i have a strange obsession with penguins (buy me one!)
14. i got to more concerts in a year than normal people go in 5 years
15. i love road trips more than any other form of transportation
